I am totally surprised to see this "statement of intent" in the public domain so soon - potentially running streets ahead of Scott's development/timescale scenario for Mukuyu
Taking the Herald Reporting and their Video to be 100% verbatim accurate - this "announcement" requires some response/clarification from IVZ or Govt sources
A JV with - say Sonatrach - for Mukuyu development, with a Zim Govt impatient to access energy asap for domestic/industrial/foreign currency use could put considerable momentum into development timescales - (and associated risks ?)
If push came to shove would IVZ be willing to go so far as to cede Operatorship (with back-costs recovered) to said Sonatrach - or be unable to resist ?
