A place like Zim you're wise to not look like too much of a golden goose until your have your basic agreements firmly in place.

If you pump the story, it looks like sharky foreigners are going to make a big easy killing in a hungry, impoverished country, and the politics become really hard.

Your goose may end up in the cooking pot before there's even meat on it's bones.

On balance, I'm willing to believe that the experienced hands at IVZ are doing this right for the moment. Not too hot, not too cold. They are engaging; building relationships, putting essentials in place, doing the deals locally that must be done, not rushing into decisions, negotiating for the right partnerships.

When all that's done, and the market wakes up to IVZ's stupendous potential, there'll be golden eggs enough for all who matter.

Scott affirmed to me a year or so back that he's really is NOT interested in attracting short term traders, and the unhelpful drama and volatility they bring.

IVZ is in Zim to succeed for real, on the ground.
