While oil shows are a great indication that the area likely has O&G deposits this could also indicate:
- trap/seals may have fractured
- O&G may have already migrated before the maturity of the trap/seal

The article gives no indication as to where the surface oil was found so who knows if its on the border of the basin or under the formation.

If the above issues have occurred though I'm not majorly concerned... don't forget we have 5 targets. It could just be that the top prospect had the issue. We still have 4 below.

I would be interested to see if the experts that came and conducted testing ever released a report. It would give an indication of the oil properties and therefore likely where it migrated from. Maybe Scott and Co have got this information? Seeing that the project is full-steam ahead then doesn't seem to be a concern
