Not sure if you are saying this stuff deliberately but you couldn’t be more wrong.
Most if not all exploration is done under 3 year time slots.
The only time they go to 20 yrs +, I think ours is 25, is at production.
The PEDPA covers this…….
At FID the area of the field will be ring fenced and moved from an exploration lease to a production lease with the 25 yr plus a 25 yr extension.
Ppsa has ZERO to do with development. It lays out the fiscal terms.
