After a simple search, seismic data can show hydrocarbon accumulations through Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator (DHI) Analysis. Markers may include flat spots, bright spots, dim spots, phase changes, velocity push-downs, low-frequency zones, gas chimneys and shallow high-amplitude zones.

DHIs provide one of the simplest methods for identifying prospects, especially when they occur together with seismically defined structural and stratigraphic traps (which IVZ already has).

Not going to go into it too much however Scott, Brent and Stuart would be all over it. My only question is whether they choose to adopt DHI Analysis in their interpretations... if so then they'd likely have to disclose their findings.
