I found the following:
- Zimbabwe become a member of AFC in 2018
- In 2022, there was a requirement from AFC to make all member countries make amendments to the original 2007 charter
- It doesn’t look like Zimbabwe made those amendments back in 2022 so they were effectively cut off from funding from the AFC
- Now the 2022 AFC charter amendment has been approved

This institution (AFC) extends loans to Sovereign States as well as other institutions for a return which they will give to their shareholders.Their major areas of priority as AFC are in line to do with issues of power generation, issues to do with the strategic national resources such as oil, minerals and gas.

Private sector can benefit from accessing funding from this AFC.
