    1. AFC Investment into oil and gas
      1. Angola:
        • Etu Energias (2023): AFC invested $60 million to support the private company Etu Energias in acquiring stakes in deepwater Block 14 and Block 14K from TotalEnergies and Inpex Corporation. This investment doubled Etu Energias' production capacity from 9,000 to 19,000 barrels per day.

This block includes the Pecan field, which is estimated to contain about 334 million barrels of oil equivalent. The project aims to significantly boost Ghana's oil production and is a partnership with other private companies like Lukoil and Fueltrade, along with a 10% carry for the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), a government institution.

        • Savannah Energy (2023): Part of a broader $1.25 billion acquisition of PETRONAS International Corporation Limited’s oil and gas business in South Sudan, including interests in 64 producing fields, enhancing the production capacity of Savannah Energy, a private company.
