In the context of Zimbabwean law, once a bill is introduced and debated in parliament, it passes as a law and is signed by the President. Once the President has signed it, it then becomes an Act of Parliament.

This is the stage we are at now, awaiting the official publicising of the new law to all and sundry via the government gazette.

So the PPSA has passed, it has just not yet been publicised. When this will happen is anyone’s guess, but it will surely be accompanied by an official market sensitive IVZ announcement highlighting the positive implications relating to various aspect of the business, funding in particular.
