Africa Oil set to boost exposure to huge Venus discovery in Namibia

Toronto-listed Africa Oil has struck a deal to boost its stake in southern Africa-focused explorer Impact Oil & Gas, a partner in TotalEnergies’ huge Venus discovery offshore Namibia.

Africa Oil’s key assets are major stakes in producing oilfields offshore Nigeria, complemented by exploration interests in South Africa and Equatorial Guinea, as well as holdings in smaller exploration companies, including Impact which is a partner in Venus.
