I know many here that I respect (thinking Davy in particular) poo poo sovereign risk at this stage…but that has always been my no 1 concern. Zimbabwe could give a crap about whatever agreements on trade they have when it comes to oil and gas. The likes of China and Algeria wouldn’t think twice about walking over a tiny, insignificant Australian wildcatter. And at these prices, they don’t even have to walk all over them - one could buy the lot for penny’s.
which begs the question..as cloutless as they may be, is Scott even engaging the govt of Australia to lobby on his behalf?
