With the share price down 50% the company is now forced to seriously pursue the farm-out route.
If the ASX market won't support them then they will need to find a corporate solution ie. JV.
A farm-out partner will need to provide funding ideally for 3 wells - Mukuyu-2, Baobab, 3D seismic and one other Central Fairway play.
That would be a great farm-out deal assuming IVZ can retain at least 50% ownership.
Strategic partners will look at Mukuyu-1 results for what they actually are ie. really quite good considering the first well in the Basin!
I appreciate ASX punters are looking for a quick buck and IVZ failed to deliver that today hence the sell-off.
