I like this comparison, offshore aside.
They estimated $4B to get to production.
The discovery well hit 630m of net pay.
1 exploratory well, 1 appraisal well, and 6 production wells producing 1 bcf/dy by 2017 (2.25 years post-discovery). Also the same time frame to selling the 30% stake for $1.125B.
So 2 years and 8 wells to get to 30 Tcf being worth $5.9B AUD.
Even if you take a heavy jurisdictional discount into consideration… I still like those numbers!
