Could do, but my experience is in general the price slowly declines in waves over time when there is no news, then jumps sharply on each positive announcement (and obviously drops after non positive announcements).
So it could settle again today if almost everyone who wants in is already set. Could be even better bargains. Sometimes there's FOMO anticipating a positive announcement but it's not something I'd rely on.
The real game here is what happens on 'D' day IMHO. The risk / reward here is very good IMHO.
