Santos's $5.6 billion Barossa gas project has been delayed yet again, just hours before the company was due to begin constructing an underwater gas export pipeline north of Darwin.
On Thursday morning, as a Santos-operated pipe-laying vessel headed to the Timor Sea, the Federal Court granted an emergency injunction sought by a Tiwi Islands traditional owner.
