I agree with you. The argument that some will make is that giving a percentage of the basin away is technically more dilutive.. however, it matters naught if the company's value cannot appreciate due to a loose register and consecutive capital raises to the likes of PAC and Jett.

Its been a constant cycle where sophs bank their raise profits and more disgruntled retailers are caught in the net.

The irony is that if we bring in a mid-tier partner, the share price will likely appreciate more than progressing the project and not diminishing our overall share of 80%. It is blindingly obvious that the Australian market cannot process the technicalities and confidence is shot or easily swayed.

Partner addresses the confidence shortfall with the simple narrative of "X would not get involved and invest if they did not see the potential". To the contrary, the capital raises are now working against us with the narrative "Why are they continuing to raise if they've made a monumental discovery?" Narratives matter as far as market confidence goes.

Even if it is not a partner taking a stake in the basin, we need an outside entity to stump the flow test funds outside of an equity raise for a boost in confidence.

Hopefully by Scott suggesting that he's working on multiple funding options, something tangible is in the works.
