The Natural Gas price in South Africa increased during Q4 2022 to 3.5 USD per MMBtu, which represents a considerable rise of 21% compared to the previous quarter’s value. On a year-over-year basis, Natural Gas prices in South Africa increased by 73%.
I recall reading over the next four years gas prices were likely to hit USD6 per MMBtu with USD10 not out of the question.
