Scott wanted to refine the cutoffs based on lab test data in the hope of increasing the net pay and differentiating some borderline hydrocarbons as liquids vs water. That’s all well and good. But he should have released the preliminary net pay straight away. Then build on those numbers from there with additional lab test data and subsequent drilling results. And regardless of that fact, we drilled this first well 1.5yrs ago and he’s still hiding behind lab testing as an excuse. If you can find a single example of another publicly listed junior small cap company that has declared an oil or gas discovery without reporting the net pay then I’ll concede defeat. I think it’s pretty clear why he’s not reporting it. It’s obviously similar or less than the net pay at MK-2 and he’s worried about the effect this will have on the share price. He should just get it out to the market now and be done with it. Can’t hurt the share price much more than where we are now.
