I also wonder myself the reasoning.
There's a few ways to look at it:
1. he thinks IVZ is a done deal and he's done what he needs to for it to fly largely autonomously now.
2. he's diversifying his risk - he's worried IVZ won't get off the ground.
I'm hoping it's number 1.
I actually wonder what percentage of his time goes to each project. it's a question I'd love to know the answer to
