It's a good question that I think is sometimes worth discussing:
@Allgood are you thinking that averaging down while the SP is low will reset your 12 month CGD?
My understanding is that is that any existing shares that you have held for 12 months or longer will still be eligible for the CGD & only the new shares if sold prior to 12 months of holding will be ineligible for the discount??
It's worth speaking tho your account though to receive professional advice.
