Yeh agree that there are most likely several major players with their eyes on the prize eh? No doubt Algeria is most likely the front runner...how much are they willing to pay to get rid of IVZ? Massive games probably being played out on many levels as we speak and for some time. The PPSA seems to be the pivot point...do the Algos wait for IVZ to almost go broke before they come in as the Savior? The machinations of manipulation will be working 24/7 to swipe the treasure out from the Ozzies. We don't have any idea let alone proof but how long does this charade go on before someone actually makes a move to break the deadlock? This is why I mention from time to time a buyout may be the simplest fix. The BOD has experience in this area. The quiet resolve from the BOD is nice to see but the SP has halved and halved again...if they cared for the shareholders they would be making alternative plans...cut and run while the PPSA is still being delayed. Give everyone an out and get some reward for the investment and hard work and time expended...don't wait until we are all in the line at Vinnies. Lets face the fact that without the PPSA IVZ is toast...no chops no chops to support the lack of chops and not even a shrimp to put on the barbie. I suspended my intended share tranche buy yesterday...reality bites! I may drop half my holding instead...something is better than nothing...perhaps IVZ BOD should write this inside their eyelids!
Ah well up and at them another day in the life awaits...not going to let my unfortunate choice of small cap investment get me down...a nice lunch by the Noosa River will lift my spirits. Good luck all be kind and be cool and above all stay frosty.
