A number of new appointments at Mutapa Investment Fund recently including Dr John Mangudya (the 14th richest person in Zimbabwe). He is tasked with finalising the PPSA negotiations.
MIF has the capacity to lend money to companies that they are invested in.
The National Oil Infrastructure Company (NOIC) is one company under the Mutapa Investment Fund (MIF). At the NOIC AGM earlier in the year Dr John Mangudya was speaking about the funds investments. In terms of capitalisation of the companies, Mangudya said the Fund will look at any of those entities’ balance sheets and see where they can use the balance sheets to make money for them to capitalise going forward.“Obviously, in the short term, they might need some bit of capital, which is funds to put it into their own operations, so they can move. And those are now one group of companies that are able to leverage the larger balance sheet of Mutapa to raise funds for those that are coughing, so they can also start moving well. For those that are moving well, we will ensure that we put more energy into them,” said Mangudya.

Looks like a new Chief Investment Officer just start at MIF as well.
New MIF crew gets set, sort out the PPSA, give Invictus some funding to get them to FID, back in for their 10% stake and strap in for the ride. Probably just trying to work out which bank account all the cash has to go in to.
