Hell, Mugabe actually went on the record saying that he rigged the polls and that the MDC-T won the 2008 election (by a fair margin), and that changed literally nothing until the coup orderly transition of power 10 years later shifted things over to Mnangagwa. CCC are protesting mass arrests at the moment, something that seemingly happens basically constantly.

Sure, it's not 2000 Zim anymore, but it's also not like operating in the first world.
