Its not really about the IVZ share price. Thing is the economics of the project is really domestic pricing and demand but needs to be funded by external parties as ZIm is too poor to do it itself.

So the pool of potential investors becomes less as the world becomes more risk adverse. I could see some external interest to power Zim miners but if mining around the world tanks as well then this will evaporate. Already some of the larger miners are mothballing their African projects so maybe sometimes timing is everything and inaction can cost a country
