This will be the catalyst pre-EGM that allows the BOD their 50% discount oppies. I have no doubt this is the strategy, reading between the lines of the announcements from a strategic standpoint. In the meantime, MIF will focus on the PPSA, as they will understand the intricacies of how the government department requires the contracts to be structured. They will also understand its importance, not only in bringing in a JV partner but in actually commercialising this behemoth of an asset and initially bringing power to local industry, and then to the broader SAPP.
