To be fair what could SM have said that would make it all better, nothing, it is what it is.

Robin came out in March 24 (from memory), and said PPSA is weeks away. Either they were naive at that point in time, or subtlety pushing the Government to pull their finger out, sometimes, more often than not when dealing with Governments, the system is far from perfect.

An example, I own firearms and am from WA, I got a rather nasty letter regarding my ownership of said firearms and how I am in possession of illegal firearms under the act and regulations and must hand them in immediately, a surprise to me. Now, as someone who works in mining, the WHS act 2020 and WHS regulations 2022 are still being adapted to by the industry after several stuff ups and have been extended out until next Year for line managers to be in line with said regulations. The new WA gun regs are unrealistic in expectation but got rammed through anyway. It’s annoying that the lack of consultation and education, combined with the half arsed roll out of said regs has been allowed to happen but it is what it is. Governments with too much power, and I take aim at the WA Libs for being a useless rabble and allowing this to happen, will do as they please without regard or oversight for the consequences.

We are nearly there, Government intervention becomes irrelevant after this document hits the table, if you have been patient up until now, why would you sell on the brink of moving forward again.
