This is not necessarily true either, you may have been scaled back as small SI but the funds may have got their fill.
Ie its a 25 mill raise and the funds etc take 20 mill and there is another 10 mill demand from Sophs, this means you get half but the raise is only slightly oversubscribed
Or it could also mean your broker only had a certain allocation so thats all he could get you.
But make no mistake the placement was in high demand and closed in short time
