Without the gazettal finalised, there was always the possibility of the government pulling the rug on us. With time from spud to top of the 200 predicted to take 10-12 days, I don’t think it would make good business sense to spud without it. Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see how quickly things fall into place now. I firmly believe we weren’t spudding without gazettal finalised even though it’s not directly related to Mukuyu.
