IMO, shares are being sold now largely due to de-risking, as it was left late for many, some who procrastinated, some caught off guard, basically they cannot afford to lose (to much).! Other factors also come into play of course (inflation, increase interest rates, Russia, etc), but a number of my friends with IVZ have been de-risking.
