It is just my opinion.. Yes it is a speeding ticket, but the SP action i the driver, not the volume so much (if the Sp was flat it could trade 100m shares and there would be no query)... Has traded this much volume more than a dozen times this year.
This is not initiated by the company, and to be honest, id be pissed if the company knew what the SP was in the middle of the night, in the middle of drilling a company defining prospect, they should be head down in the mud trying to smell gas. And I'd be even more pissed if the company put out the pause to put out a release just to calm - unless there is material news of course. If there is no news, and this is just weak hands selling, let them capitulate I say.
As there have been 22m shares sold today, 22m tickets to the lottery have been bought by some brave punters - me included!
