100% - I actually think it was people speculating on them failing the first horizon due to no news when they already told us nobody would know until the wire logging. It started with Huangeng's thread which spooked people - you can't underestimate how powerful HotCopper is for changing market sentiment. Once the selling starts....monkey see monkey do.
This goes both ways, if people sniff oil don't be surprised if it multi bags without news.
