I had free time today so did some reading on DHIs and it turns out that when exploring for gas "flat spots" are one of the favourite indicators for gas hunters.
"The presence of a DHI was most likely to lead to a gas discovery with 71% of discoveries with reported DHIs encountering gas, gas condensate or gas and oil. 86% of discoveries with flat spots were gas rich." - Westwood Global Energy.
We are drilling through some nice flat spots in the lower section.
I still can't prove to myself that there is no gas!
I have no excuse to sell.
