WEEKEND THOUGHTS....
- share price 24c, market cap $200m is far too low given we are on the cusp of a major onshore gas / liquids discovery. But this will soon change.
- given the size of the Mukuyu prospect a $500m+ market cap is possible in the coming days post wireline results.. Multiple pay horizons in Forest, Pebbly Arkose, Upper Angwa (600+650), etc of a decent size could push us well into the $500m to $750m market cap range imho
- basin margin play becomes more real post Mukuyu discovery – from “zero value” to “a lot of option value” which some analysts could say worth $100m+ ie. 15c?
- Invictus have the ENTIRE BASIN = MASSIVE INTEREST FROM OIL + GAS MAJORS
- new chunky farm-in offers from E&P WITH DEEP POCKETS will come flying through the door post wireline results…. $$$$
- M&A may come sooner than expected….. there is a chronic shortage of gas in the world and a new BASIN play will get snapped up pretty quickly imho. IVZ may not even get the opportunity to drill a 3rd well….. Don't under-estimate the scarcity value and US / European governments will probably not want the Chinese getting their hands on IVZ.... Global politics at its best....
- whether the share price goes to 50c or $1.00+ will depend on how many/big the pay zones are post wireline logging. We don’t have the info (yet) but it’s looking great so far
- despite being in a bear market (which is starting to turn into an early Santa rally) there is actually a WALL OF MONEY out there sitting on the sidelines wanting to invest in exceptional equity stories. Word will get around re. IVZ and the money will come
- post discovery announcement expect some pretty amazing PR ie. President visit, CNBC, social media bonanza
- traders – the share price may well end up going up, and up, and up over the coming weeks. Buy and hold may actually be the best trading strategy…
