I don't know for sure but I know that there are many small consultants that do this type of seeding and promotion and they know where all that type of media is on the net and how best to use it.
But the way that 88E grew so fast would indicate that it was directed by some pretty skillful social media types.Dave Wall is a very savvy guy.
Certainly I have had experience in publicly promoting IPO's here in OZ but it is much more difficult to shout above the crowd in the US because everyone there talks loudly and claims to be the best
