From my experience working with Baker and Slb wireline crews.....the risk assessment they go through is pretty much the same.

One thing that has happened over the years is wireline jobs are driven more from townside than from the wireline unit. Improvements in communications and the advent of real time streaming of logging data have been factors here. When you've got someone in town running the show things generally get done by the book....this takes pressure off the field engineer but can be frustrating for the client at times.
