As we now start to think about patient recruitment, it is worth reminding ourselves how motivated many IIH sufferers are to find a solution for their condition.
I don't think either of these links have been posted on the BB and I think both are worth exploring for a multitude of reasons.
The first one is the general link to the IIHUK charity website, basically it is the patient advocacy group in the UK. This site provides a fantastic overview of the condition from various perspectives and reminds one that for IIH sufferers this is not some sort of casual thing. It makes it clear just how debilitating the condition is and in many cases how it becomes a dominant aspect of their lives.

Looking around the site it quickly becomes clear that the broad IIH patient community is desperate to find a solution and is very motivated quickly find out if Exenatide works and if it does to get it approved. The next link takes you to the specific information that IIH UK has prepared about the Evolve trial for those that may be interested in taking part. It is an excellent "plain language" summary of our trial and well worth a read.

All of the above reinforces my belief that we will not have a significant problems with recruitment.
