China Japan has a very bad history, with WW11 far from forgotten.Toyota total debt on the balance sheet as of September 2023 : $223.34 B. Japanese car industry under threat, Japan itself IMO under threat if that fails. Japan USA has strong essential alliances.
The coming war on China (next decade) quite a possibility, aint like the Yanks really need any reason now. Lots of that military hardware needs rare earths!
