This is where things are going. Everyone wants a car IMO for the freedom it brings. Now macho men might not want a $4000 small runaround, myself included, especially for long trips. But local trips to the shops, sure why not. Also, more importantly, women want/prefer a small car, lots I know tell me so. Why? easy to park, comes in pink, and cheap to run, and that's just for starters.
Forward thinkers like Tony Seba are ahead of the curve, as is China. Ever wonder why China wants all the REE's it can devour plus controlling all aspects of this.
The recent defence articles are one of the main reasons REEs are and will be financed. A lot of things for retail come initially from war expenditure, fact even if unfortunate. Fear, survival, call it what may.
