We are all naturally disappointed that Monash have not fronted with the initial mill to tell long suffering shareholders (many whom bought on the basis of the 2c promise) they are committed. But maybe that initial mill might trigger other temporarily undesirable factors for Monash like a sp run?...leverage in negs?...

Anyway...my feeling is its all good and possibly with the lawyers whom take time? Its a decades deal/relationship being negotiated with many parties involved. Maybe the shortlisting confirmation complicated things?

    Meanwhile...join a few dots maybe...

Dont underestimate JCSTEELE. Yesterdays BCIA ann was imo very telling.

"The Collaboration Agreement means JCS will supply a ‘series 25' pug mill and extruder combination, at its cost to ECT’s Coldry pilot plant at Bacchus Marsh, with a replacement value in excess of $250,000, which will assist in the localisation study leading to the Victoria Coldry Project at Loy Yang Power Station...

Michael Haycock, Managing Director of JCS Australia commented “We keenly support the development of the Coldry technology and see it as an exciting opportunity to increase our footprint in a new market vertical. We feel we have a lot of expertise to contribute and look forward to working with ECT
    .”

Roll on 2 years and has Mr Haycock changed his mind?

"Michael Haycock, Managing Director of Steele’s operations in Australia, was pleased to see the company earn recognition for its R&D with Australia’s brown coal reserves ...“We recently integrated our stiff extrusion technology with an Environmental Clean Technology pilot program that converts lignite to a Black Coal Equivalent (BCE),” Haycock noted... “Steele stiff extrusion offers a proven way to commercialize brown coal."

Its clear JCS have gained BCIA membership on the back of their Coldry work. Nice....and the word "proven" is interesting!

"We have our own small scale fully staffed lab facility located in Melbourne for the testing of materials and are developing a full scale containerised mobile test unit for demonstration and lease purposes which is scheduled for completion by mid 2013".

I get the feeling JCS are very confident they have a secure future in brown coal Vic. And they clearly state their future is strongly aligned with ECT.

The TIMING is interesting...and BCIA dont accept anyone.

"Brown Coal Innovation Australia (BCIA) has approved J.C. Steele & Sons Australia for membership. BCIA is a non-profit organization tasked with securing a sustainable future for Australia's world-class brown coal resources. Members work to advance brown coal innovations and emissions reduction research and development, while also serving as a focal point for programs and projects already underway."

So why NOW for JCS BCIA intro?...just when the Monash/ECT relationship suffered a pre AGM T&C curve ball and the sp is unloved - and HC has revolted haha? Why didnt JCS/BCIA save some potential embarrasment and WAIT until Monash deliver?

Indicates to me JCS have firm confidence ECT will be spitting out pellets & building modules in the LV long term - note too the JCS mention of "pilot"...isnt it an all important ALDP requirement to have a pilot plant demonstrating LV capability?...wasnt there a report re "shovel ready" early 2013?

Interesting too is the TIMING re the DPI ann days ago re allocations confirming the Pilbara is a goer.

    tick tock...
