Security blankets in business, don't cut it in my vocabulary.
This company had a history of ordinary performers operating the listing and walking in and out the door.
Now we have a conservative management regime that have put together a business model that is sound and excellent for all those employed within the organization.
It has now become a safe haven in which to be employed. The risk factor is diminished and the security is all but assured for those on the payroll.
Good luck to them.
However I invested cash in a company that wanted to take control of their own destiny with a technology/product/service that they created, had a passion for success and wanted to be for change in the business world.
Numerous tech opportunities have arisen over the last decade and the investors have been awash with cash to invest in a business model that will drive innovation, involve tech savvy entrepreneurs and attract funds.
.......and what have I got as an investor, approx $4m in cash in the bank which has been their for years, a massive work force costing approx $9.000.000 paid for by NetSuite commisssions to service the customer base and one small acquisition in Riyo
I did not invest in a company to be safe.
Safety arrives when they put the lid on the coffin in the meantime if you are given a life in the business world stand for something you own ... even if it fails - at least next time you have a good chance of success.!
