You're right in that the Georgia DOT tests are the next milestone, because if they're successful, a lot of risk (from an investor's point of view) is removed. The products have already been successfully tested by multiple parties, but this would be an endorsement by a large, well-known organisation.

Of course the major milestone, equally as important, is to get some larger orders on the books once the tests are completed. That, even moreso, is what will bring institutional investors on board, because institutions only invest if a company makes a profit, rarely on potential alone.

Lastly, and maybe a year after all that happens, EDE should consider bringing on a reputable group CEO or MD, and maybe one more independent director with no previous link to the Solomons. There are still significant doubts about the current board (including in my mind), and if they can be dispelled that would be another thing institutions might look for.
