I've always thought GSK or Novartis was a likely next partnership in discussion & given that word on the street is Europe to further these discussions then those companies probably are box seat. In that case funding from the newly formed J&J/GSK venture fund would probably make alot of sense. Maybe like Aileron in reverse they secured intial funding from a poole of VC's, GSK, Roche, Lily & Novartis before securing their $1B+ milestone deal with Roche a year later. Phylogica already have the potential $1B+ deal with Janssen & other smaller partnerships so maybe it's time they get backed by the VC's ? Waiting as always but it will come although i have the heard "next payment is juicy" many times over the last few years lol, yet still to see one but i'm sure it will be a very welcome suprise :-)
