    Jabiru is owned by ERA and is scheduled to be destroyed and re-vegetated along with the mine sites.

    There are meeting currently being held monthly in regards to the future of Jabiru.  

    If Jabiru does not have to be destroyed and re-vegetated to its natural state then this is a significant cost saving for ERA.

    At the moment it would appear that the NT government and other interested parties including residents would like to keep the town and airport.

    Any savings that ERA make from this would hopefully then be added to the pot for distribution to shareholders.
