The other thing to consider is that NZ recognises dual citizenship …it suggests for some reasons why there is reluctance to apply for Aust citizenship, thus giving them the right to vote.

Mir not sure really why the don't get citizenship maybe its the regulations are to tough and they don't qualify but are allowed to live here under the AU/NZ reciprocal agreement, Australians can vote in NZ after being there 12 months, why haven't they become citizens just saying
