Maybe they just didn't undo the bad policies from the government they were voted to replace. Seems to happen a lot. No matter which of the snake's heads people elect, the downwards agenda always seems to continue unabated. It's like that Chinese diplomat said a couple of years back, "In China we can not change the party, but we can change policy. In the west, you can change the parties but you cannot change the policy." He was dead right.
