    .... was at her best tonight, genuine and respectful to her community.

    a very different person from the Ms Price I'd seen over the years on Drum and Q&A where she was combative, contentious and disrespectful.

    tonight she explained her reason for rejecting the Voice. her argument was the old conservative mantra of bureaucracy = Bad.

    and she's quite correct that historically bureaucracy has neglected, harmed, imprisoned and debased indigenous people. based on this she says "we" don't want more bad bureaucracy. and this is her sole reason for rejecting the concept of the Voice.

    of course it wasn't only Price on the panel and all together spoke their different opinions. none took Price to task and as the discussion progressed Price became more relaxed and began to speak of her people. her connection to her people.

    the respect between all of the people there was peaceful and eloquent, honest and genuine.
