Given the touted glorious prospects for MEB, why would yesterday's seller dump 4 million odd shares at its lowest price in 4 years? If, as mentioned here, it's an 'old guard' shareholder, then it makes less sense given a better understanding of the company's prospects than we punters. After all, the 'old guard' initiated the MEB back-door listing and subsequent capital raisings, set in train various commercial and collaborative partnerships and regulatory pathways and hired the existing CEO. It does not inspire confidence especially with the CEO having widely and long promoted an imminent CE Mark approval. While the company should be sanguine about gaining European Medical Devices Directorate approval, there is no absolute certainty it will occur on the company's first submission. A setback is likely to devastate share price while approval should see a rally. But how much selling pressure (including yesterday's buyer of 4 million) on a rally given the a CE Mark is well factored into the market and the repeated, non-delivery by management on other scores? The shine has already come off yesterday's bounce. So much for the overhang theory pressuring the price. Without any evidence, it's naïve to assert yesterday's seller had been continually selling on market previously and suppressing the price. Make up facts at your own peril. One observation about directors without skin in the game: they know how to spend other people's money, allegedly. Capital raising here we come... on your CE Mark, ready , go.
