I think @hurcorh is right. Jack has cleaned up the company and made major changes which I think needed to be made. At the end of the day he hasn't done anything wrong so it is inappropriate to ask him to consider stepping down. With my knowledge of the European regulatory process and what I've heard about the company, my money is on Jack to deliver the CE Mark, which is a major milestone.
That said, if he doesn't then perhaps, in the absence of a plausible explanation, it will be time for the board to ask the question.
Tick, tick, tick.......only a few days till then end of Q3.
