Both involvements by the CHINESE do need the FIRB and shareholder approval. In the Lynas case do not believe that the 51+% majority offer will succeed, would be BLATANTLY un-australian for any Federal Govt. to approve such a T/O, but then who knows with the Rudd people.

This quote " bought two Australian miners " is totally misleading information, especially for newbies and the not so informed people on HC and the share market in general. SOMEBODY should tell them to get their facts RIGHT.
