I'm a doubter. The 2011 Lifton said nearly the exact opposite to me on a few occasions and included Kieth Bradshear propaganda with it. I agree the 2012 Lifton is saying better things, but I just don't trust it. His views do not seem to be based on the facts or a consistent reasoning. They seem more based on politics and the current wind. That's no expert IMO, just another talking head.
Let bygones be bygones? Maybe. But trust and credibility? ... not yet.
