The silly thing is damien that even when property was way less than half of today's prices there was still plenty of renters - not everyone wants to own or has another reason why they need to rent. I think some of these guys are nothing more than closet communists and while capitalism is far from perfect communism just doesn't work as everyone is NOT equal as not everyone wants to put in the same level of effort into their endeavours in life.
